lol i remember recording music on blank tapes the good old days haha where we actually had to rewind and fast forward to songs we wanted to hear kids now a days are spoiled haha but it was nice when NES was like 100$ instead of systems now being 300$
Yep. And I remember when they first came out with cassette machines that could "scan" for the start of a song for you. Before that, you had to guess or use the tape counter.
Hell, I remember 8-track tapes, do you? Remember that Godawful "CLUNK" you'd get, sometimes right in the middle of a song, when it changed tracks? Or other times, they'd have 3-4 minutes of blank tape at the end of a track, to avoid getting the CLUNK in the middle of a song.....and no way to fast forward or rewind...so that you had to listen to 3-4 minutes of nothing in order to get to the next song?
Heck, I remember when there weren't even floppy disks on computers...or mice. I remember uploading computer programs from cassette tapes! And then, I remember when floppy disks...really WERE "floppy" when they were 5 1/4 inch...not the 3 1/2 inch "floppies" that they have now, which are, themselves, almost extinct now.
Amazing, the things we old farts remember, huh?
