Hacking Flashing With Supercard Lite

Hi all,
Firstly I apologise if this is really obvious or has alreayd been answered.
I'm just about to use a friends passkey 3 (or superkey cannot remember which he has got) and supercard lite to flash my ds lite.
Can i just copy the flashme.nds straight onto the card or do I need to have .sav files or anything like that installed??
I've taken a look at a lot of the videos on YouTube etc. but a lot of them use the older style supercards and passme's.
Any help greatly appreciated to a newbie.

best thing to do is to just try it. But the "flashme.nds" file on your supercard, and try running it, while you have the passme inserted. If it runs, then your in bussiness, if not try going to this post:
