Hacking Flashcart not working properly? Help

So I recently bought an R4 SDHC GOLD Pro and it doesn't load properly. At first there is just a white screen and if i hold X it "loads" into a screen that says the www.r4i-sdhc.com and then it says "fake card, please return to retailer". Is it actually a fake or is the firmware not compatible? I'm using "R4i-3DS V1.84b English" Firmware from www.3ds-flashcard.com

Get the kernel from the right site http://www.r4isdhc.com/

What firmware are you on? Do you have CFW? Also which kernel did you download?

R4i Gold (r4ids.cn) has official Wood R4 support, as does R4iDSN, but any other cart does not and they will not work with official Wood R4.
