Hacking Flashcart and online

Hello, just a newbie question (I search the FAQ sections but didn't find my answer)

I have an Ace3ds+ flashcart that I use with my NDSi.
The other day I bought a 3ds (5.1.0-11U) and my flashcart works fine with it and play all the roms (or the ones I have tried)
My question is: should I stay away from being online? (e-shop, game updates, multiplayer etc)

I understand that future firmware updates can block my card, but my question is more about being banned; Can or will nintendo ban me from using online? ( like with xbox live)
Any reports on that? or what do you suggest.

I was planning on selling my NDSi now that I know that I can play the roms on the 3ds. But now im not to sure cause' I'm wondering if I could get banned, and I would like to be able to use online mode on the future (flip note 3d, updates, multiplayer etc)

Thanks but I read about 15 pages and there is no metion of banning, bricking is somethign different.

You won't get banned. Don't cheat in online 3ds games should a cheat tool ever be created.
