On the Wii it was the Homebrew Channel, on DS the flascards, which one wi be used on the 3DS?

I think it will be better to use a sort of Cydia for the 3DS, a homebrew channel where we download packages from different sources. Why? Because it's better that we can download a new homebrew directly from the app.

But a software hack may be harder than a hardware hack but what do you think?

You expect it to happen im actually hoping it doesn't happen. but if it did i guess it would be software

flashcard and software......flashcard such as R4i gold 3ds, DSTwo , Ak2i will have the bigger chance to get it first, but i think there will be a software in the end ....

I think I want to disable region-locking and go no further with hacking. Although that'd become a pain-in-the-ass game of cat-and-mouse with Nintendo, unless they play nice and just REMOVE REGION CODING themselves. Morons.

I agree but if they remove region lock people will buy games from china and nintendo will lose the main part of there income.

Quite a minority will buy them from China.. It's all about availability and China isn't that for most people. Going to the local Gamestop is much easier, albeit a bit more expensive method to get the game instead of waiting for weeks, possibly months for the latest new games

i think the best method its homebrew channel as you can filter the updates and make some safe one
with the jailbrack every time a firmware is released you have to jaibreak also cydia is a derivate of the jailbreak as you have to jaibreak the device to install unauthorized software (cydia)

I think it's a waste of time creating yet another 'how will the 3DS be hacked?' thread, there are already dozens of them.

I think I agree. PLEASE can these stop already? I mean, WHAT THE HELL, PEOPLE?! WHY SO MANY USELESS THREADS?

A hardware hack first, then using that, leads to softmod, like the old DS PassMe cards that you use only to install FlashMe.

This is probably the most likely situation we'll be dealing with.
