Fix GameBoy Pocket!??

So I was looking for my SNES and found it along with my broken GameBoy Pocket...

The details about how I broke it:
As everyone knows the GBP uses AAA Batterys but unfortunately I didn't had any at the time of the accident...
So my solution was taking AA Batterys and some wire... well then my GB was fcked...

So did I blow a fuse or anything or should I give up on this?

PS.: When I did this I was a small kid and I didn't knew what Voltage is...

umm, as long as you used the same amount of batteries, it should be fine... all alkaline cells are 1.5v whether D or AAAA

You'll have blown a fuse or something in your GBP. Its fried due to too high a voltage my friend

buy a GBA you can find it for 15 to 30 Euros or buy a new GBColor for 10 euros

i see, i was hoping that if a fuse existed and i have blown it on information of where the fuse is located but i guess i can forget it, ofc i can use my flashcart and my nds but the gameboy pocket is like nostalgia pure
