Just spotted Fzero is now avaliable for the VC NTSC version using an SD card, this is taken from NFO:

"iND presents,

F-Zero.SNES-VC.NTSC.Wii-iND

Size : 3 487 808 octets
Support : SD Card / Wii
Protection : Nothing

Needed:
- Nintendo Wii
- SD Memory Card
- Saved Channel *Included*

Instructions : Access your SD card and place the file named 'private'
onto the drive. Take the card out of your system and
place it in the Wii. Navigate to your Wii memory management settings
and find the section that is labeled 'Channels'. You will find two tabs
inside, one for your Wii and the other for the SD card. Select the SD
tab and you will find the saved channel present. Copy it to your Wii
and you will be done."

Anyone tried this yet?

I also did see this release , but it's not playable ...

I would try it !

This won't work on any version of the Wii firmware.
I've heard rumors that say it would work on the original firmware but that didn't have SD transfer support so it still wouldn't work.

Apprently the first version that you could download onto the Wii after launch closed the hole that allowed it.
Hence why it doesn't work. It is possible there was a firmware revision inbetween that supported both but we wouldn't have seen it.

because you wouldnt be able to set up the classic controller? although you could use a GC controller i suppose, if the current homebrew emulators allowed for it... suppose ill find out soon when i get my wii back
