Hacking First time flashcart buyer

Hi everyone, After browsing these forums for about a month, I have decided to join and get a flashcart. The one I have chosen is the CycloDS evolution, However, I have two different sites to choose from, GamePlayFun, and HolidayCarts. I am asking wether these are safe sites to buy from. TY in advance.


If it makes a diference, I found both these sites from the main cycloDS site.

I have never bought from either site however, I have bought from Real Hot Stuff and their price is about the same as GamePlayFun and they ship in the USA (NJ to be exact). I've always experienced fast shipping from them.

Go with Real Hot Stuff. They are great and domestic. You pay a bit more, but get it quick since you dont have to wait for international shipping from China.

Thats because the regular CycloDS Evolution is absolute now. If you want it then you better get CycloDS iEvolution which is for the same price & got more functions.

Uh... huh? The Cyclops iEvo works on the DSi and 3DS consistently every single firmware update without its own bootloader update. But, yeah, build quality sucks. Get a Supercard DStwo. You won't regret it.

Ah, news to me. But, uh, what happened to, uh, about, 10 or so consecutive "iEvo works out of the box on teh new firmwarez!!!!!" news posts?

I have to say, get a R4i sdhc if you can get one cheap enough, i know its not as good as a dstwo but they have just upgraded the kernel to support ndsi 1.4.3e, and there are not a lot of cards supporting that.

There's only Supercard DSTwo, iSmartMM, AceKard 2i, r4idsn.com, r4ids.cc and probably several others all of which are far better than the r4i-sdhc.com card.

It works on DSi mode.

But you can't switch to DSi mode.

And DSi mode doesn't even work.

And Team Cyclops is gone now, they're on "vacation" for three months. lol. Forget that Team.

Yeah, you know: This is not Yahoo Answers or an opinion board.

You need to own several flash cards to have an opinion about flash cards.

R4i-SDHC is better for a custumer as a first card, better than anything made by Team Cyclops, that's true. But it's still not a really good card.

R4iDSN.com, R4iDS.cn, Acekard.com --> this are really good cards for a beginner.

I never said it was a great card, i said it was cheap and works.

Its a forum, of course it has opinions on it, every post is somebodys opinion.

I have a Supercard DS2 coming in the post, i got this card from thoresby market cheap, and it has worked fine with no problems. Clone or not is'nt that all a card has to do whether it is a "good" card or not, to work.

Yeah but there are cheaper cards that work better.

It's nice to see that you like your R4i-SDHC. A lot of people like their first card, and a lot of people didn't get "the best" card as their first card. No problem with that. That's nice indeed.
