What sort of MS do you have? Magic Gate Support, Brand and Size?

Also you could always update to 5.03 and use Chickhen to run Hellcats Recovery Flasher.

Even though I have the pandora battery, I just updated a new PSP from 3.71 to 5.03 and then ran chicken & Hellcat Recovery Flasher. I followed the guide at pspslimhacks.com http://pspslimhacks.com/easy-chickhen-cust...ithout-pandora/.

There's a download link for the 5.03 CFW (I think it was 5.0 M33-4) and then I did another upgrade to get M33-6. It was pretty easy for a first time PSP modder.

eboots are freely distributed by Sony. So long as they're not tampered with then i'd say yes (so poploader sets are a no-no as these contain decrypted files from those firmwares)

(Oh and Livin in a box....Frog-Gaming seems like a scam site and has been touted as such across various places -

Yes I know, but I've seen one report of someone receiving their copy of FIFA 10 perfectly fine, so...That's why I put it there. I saw it advertised on Google Mail too...And they use PayPal, so you can get your money back if something happens.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
