LMFAO~!:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2: Don't be so salty just because I made a seemingly anti-piracy statement lol
You clearly didn't understand the reference, so shame on you! xD

Now I get the reference, thanks.
Yet there was no need for a big font.

About anti-piracy, I try to get as much as original games as possible.
My PS3, PS4, Vita and 3DS games are all original,
and I try to buy the ones I pirated on DS using flashcard,
yet I still think condemning piracy on GBATemp is hypocritical,
as this was a rom site in it's early days and still has great focus on hacking consoles.
you didn't condemn piracy, my bad, but there are tons of people in this thread that do.

Sorry for the confusion.

Just because it was a rom site in its early days doesn't mean it is now, and just because you have interest in hacking and homebrew doesn't mean you support piracy.

How I said before, the major focus on this site is in the hacking sections.
As also said before I do not support piracy, but I do not condemn it.
You can condemn piracy, but if you want to do it on GBATemp you're clearly in the wrong place.

Can you send it to me too?
I want to start a recompiler ARM64 to x86_64.
If you really want to start writing an AArch64 to amd64 recompiler, I'd suggest buying a Raspberry Pi 3 and starting with some simple "Hello, World" applications. That way, you won't have to emulate the OS code and everything else in addition to the CPU

In fact, I started writing an ARM32 to x86_64 recompiler for citra around 1 month before a recompiler gets integrated into the emulator. It was about ~50% complete. I have left this project.
In fact, I am more a researcher than an emulator coder (I am a PhD student). My objective is to find optimizations, for, by example, the fact that you have 32 registers on ARM64 and only 16 on X86_64 (and moreover, you need to keep RAX for multiplications, or swap it before the multiciplication, stuff like that).
But for the moment I only use some basic ARM64 code...
I dont' find the dump on the net (it seems only on private boards for the moment), and I just need the code part for the moment.

Those of you bi*ching about dumping games to digital in paranoia of doing it for illegal purposes also need to realize that when things like wii-u discs get even 1 tiny scratch in an important area on the disc, you are fu*ked! I've had a splatoon game stop working simply because it had 1 small scratch on the inner part of the ring, pathetic, also these switch cartridges feel flimsy af almost as if shaking it slightly makes you feel like there are moving parts in there, those switch cartridges feel like they will break on you. Point is people want their purchased games to be backed up for when stuff like this happens. STAY WOKE PARANOID SALLIES

The roms they released are decrypted and can be extracted with this for those who are wondering and may wanna look at the files. https://gist.github.com/SciresM/b39626f5200aa1ef3c95cdec40ec728a
Which version of python?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

When running dumped Rom will be possible... I think the modding time will be great :) (Zelda BotW right here)

Edit: Please stop/don't ask me where or how get the dumps... just be patient.
Have you released that that tool?

Most of the people posting here don't seem to be very history aware either, or in general understand what's even going on. The 3DS was faster than this due to compromised similarities to the DS/DSi. But just having the decrypted dumps doesn't mean anything, took the scene years before we got to not-DRMed access and piracy, and that did nothing to the 3DS which is itself tracking to be a very software healthy platform for Nintendo. Modern day piracy has, for your general consumer, become too convoluted to keep up with unlike the flashcart days of the DS. (Knowing some of the guys behind these works, they are fans of the games and don't condone piracy, so they won't even release any of this until its patched out.)

Nintendo wasn't kind to early soft-modding on the 3DS either (they don't seem to have ever cared about the WiiU) and I can't imagine they are going to be tolerant of it on the Switch.

I'm much more interested in when we'll have access to the TrustZone. I suspect that that is where any and all hangups will occur, and unlike Nintendo's "security" TrustZone is actually an industry standard.
