I wonder, has anyone made any progress on analysizing the differences between the english and chinese firmwares?
Why english can't flash onto chinese g6 lite?
And how to maybe make 4.0c similar to the dual lingual version that came with the g6 lite?

And uhh....other stuff... any status on anything?

I have limited assembly knowledge with ia32 and mips architectures. I took a look at the .sys files but I can't even figure out what kind of file format it is! There are no strings on the data either.

If I could get a disassembly of the loader files I might be able to make some progress but as I said my knowledge of assembly is limited. I'm sure there are more qualified people out there.

Ok, maybe it's just me but can anyone else confirm that the 4.0beta(english/chinese) loader is actually smaller than the recent 4.0c?
