Firmware version query

Hey I'm just doing a bit of a general update of everything. I've got
atmosphere 1.6.2
hekate 6.1.0
system version 16.0.1

what firmware version should i be updating to? some threads from 5 months back said
to avoid going to 17.x is that still current?

17.0.0 and 17.0.1 is fine now so you can update if you want to. Newer games and updares requires 17.x

Before you update make sure your sigpatches and sysmodules (if you have any) are updated and temporary remove any themes you might have

If you have blanket prodinfo make sure you also use DNSmitm, otherwise your Switch will crash on 17.x
