Hmm, What about "TempCard"?

or.. GBAtempcard , hmm too obvious, but TempCard would work wouldn't it?
Temp , as in GBAtemp (ofc..) and Temp as in the temporary firmware it has, and ... it sounds good?

(btw, was this firmware supposed to be developed by GBAtemp members?, in that case it would suit nicely.)

I don't like OpenKard either, but if the majority like it, that's good.

It doesn't really fit the project though, the Acekard firmware is already open. It's also somewhat ambiguous.

Anyway, I should just decide and make that SF project soon.

just call it something extremely random then. Like "Real Play Gear bunny" or "cracker" (after the user cracker here).
