I'm sort of reseting my system...

Can anyone tell me how to save my firefox bookmarks? I have litterally like 150 unorganized links and I don't want to spend my time dragging and dropping each one to my desktop. Internet Explorer Faves are a breeze to save because they're stored convieniently in a folder, it doesn't seem to be so simple with Firefox.

Also, don't you think there should be a tech support section?

Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Backup

Also, with the 'unorganized' thing, press Ctrl+D then OK to save it to the general location

Yeah. There're a few ways to do this, and Firefox's is much simpler then IE. Ctrl+Shift+B > Bookmarks Manager > Import and Backup > Export HTML. Then save that HTML file, then do the same thing you just did to reload them, just go Import HTML. Or you could use Xmarks, which saves your bookmarks online.

And yes, we need a Computer Tech Support section.

I got Ninja'd. And wat? ANOTHER ANGEL BEATS FAN BESIDES ME? Wooot. WOOOT, I say.

I will argue with this. The backup thing in FF was simple after I was told, but it isnt as near as simple as "Drag and Drop."

You could also backup your complete profile folder.

It's located in document and settings/username/application data/Mozilla/Firefox/profiles/xxxxxxxx.profilename

the xxxx.profilename is a folder, named with random letters, and with the profile name.
mine is ijbaix4r.Cyan
it could be xxxxxx.default, if you never change the name.

Guide to save and restore your profile :
save the complete folder
format your system, reinstall your OS
copy your folder back at the same place it was before the format
reinstall Firefox, it will detect the profile and use it as default.

Then, you will have all your bookmark, but also all your history/password/cookies/config/add-on, well your complete profile

If your profile is not loaded, but instead there's a new empty profile, boot firefox with a command line :
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -ProfileManager
select the profile and check "don't ask at statup"

Or you can install firefox first, it will create a new profile.
Go to the profile folder, and replace all the content with your old profile folder's content

instruction and path for all OS :
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backin...r%20information
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing%20profiles

Same for Thunderbird (just not in mozilla/sub folder, but in right into %appdata%/thunderbird)
