There is no permission to talk dutch here sorry for that

Well I don't know, I disliked firefox 4 so I reinstalled 3. And considering the fact that firefox 5 will have automatic updates I'll probably get another browser instead (or still keep 3).

Firefox has had automatic updates since.... 2?

And what do you dislike about Firefox 4? I bet whatever you dislike can be solved with a few clicks int he Options or Customize menu.

It said "Thunderbird 5" on the English translation... not "Firefox".
I noticed that too, but it says in the article Firefox and I found other places confirming it. I'm guessing that was a bad typo since the article also talks about Thunderbird 6.

Okay, but don't go with Chrome then because they've been auto-updating for ages.

QUOTE(twiztidsinz @ Apr 10 2011, 06:13 PM) WTF... Firefox 4.0 -JUST- came out, it hasn't even had a minor revision yet.

it can be true i have more freeze/error problems with 4 than 3.6

Exact same problem here, it freezes so much on my laptop.

Well it's more that if I understand the article correctly it will be without user input (I like to know it if they change/update something). As for firefox 4, well with three I'll save my tabs at the end of the day so I can recall the next day. When I updated to four the bastard deleted al those tabs (I did not get the opportunity to save my new tabs either), so unless there is a way around that I'll be sticking to three.

There's definitely an add-on for such simple tasks. Maybe even already released. But if you want to stay with 3, no problem at all, still a good browser.

Yeah, I'm happy with it, so I'll just keep it untill I have to change (outdated etc.)

hmm a quick gogle search was all i needed..

1. Type about:config at the address bar and hit enter.
2. Click the “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button
3. At the filter bar, type browser.showQuitWarning and hit enter.
4. You can either double click on it to change the value from false to true, or right click on it and select Toggle.

Well I have not tried that (not even searching for a solution), I just decided that three would be better and abandoned it. Who knows, I might just decide to update once more.
