what's the difference between this and Firefox 4 Beta 1?

More improvements and fixed bugs from the previous version. And other things tested on it

Downloaded Firefox 4 Beta 2. Still have menu bar on default theme. Am running XP MCE SP3.

Also, where can I get decent themes for this?

They added a new page on the "install add-ons" menu.
on beta1 there were a page "we will add explanation and a nice page here later"

but other add-ons menu are not implemented yet.


for people trying beta2, who still want to use (some of) their 3.x addons :

- Type about:config in the URL bar
- when asked, accept to take the risk
- right-click the main window and add a new boolean : extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0b
- set value to : false
- reboot (one or two time, or sometime you need to boot 3.x first to memorize the active add-ons on 3.x)

I found only DownThemAll not working with 4.x, you need to install the beta too.
The beta install as a new add-on, disable dTa non beta first.

I still have the same error i did on the last beta

I'm still missing my "x" "-" "+"

only if i enable the menu-bar do i get it. but that defeats the whole purpose of the nice new look

i think your problem is the persona's plug in

firefox 4.0 has it built in

remove the addon and go to the persona's website

Actually they built personas into firefox in an earlier version, I think 3.6 is when.

I liked how in 3.5 you could lay a firefox persona over a theme. But they combined it so now it's one or the other...
