what's private browsing mode?
You can set an option that stops Firefox from keeping a history of every website you've been on.
Meaning, as most people are probably going to use it, if you go to a porn site no one will ever know.

Fail. (lol)

Anyways, I find that it's an improvement over 3.0. Good, finally I have faster internets at my disposal! mwahahaHAHAHAHA!

Just got Firefox 3.5 earlier. Seems faster and alot more responsive overall. The HTML 5 support of audio and video tags is interesting also. Could do away with plugins altogether like flash and keep it to an open source format.

3.5 isn't bad actually. It's almost as fast as Google Chrome, but it's a lot more stable and every website I've been to works. I like that there's now a button to add a tab, instead of double-clicking the tab bar or clicking File>New Tab. I'm hoping 3.6 is even faster.

Oh, and what's so special about 3.6a1pre? What new features does it have?

Okay, I want to love Firefox but certain things aren't working for me and it's probably something stupid I'm doing/not doing...

When browsing GBATemp for instance, if I click on my user name, I get to my profile. If I want to click on my "Posts" tab, it isn't a selectable tab. It's like part of the page background.

Also when I have a list box with a "Go" button, that button doesn't respond. It just stares at me instead of loading the new page.

I have disabled the noscript plugin and it still doesn't work.

What's up?

Edit: Upgraded version still doesn't work for me.

yea it really needed that
even though the new tab feature is taken from IE7 d:

firefox has had a new tab button since the beginning, you just have to add it yourself... it used to be on the left of the tab bar by default but it was rather redundant.

just downloaded firefox 3.5, seems all my (10) addons work fine with it, for those of you having problems with addons not being compatible type "about:config" into the address bar, right click > new > boolean, call it "extensions.checkCompatibility" and set it to "false"

of course, if the is really a problem with compatibility, I take no responsibility for firefox breaking, your computer exploding, or the universe asploding.
