Hey, I'm trying to editing my save in order to up the difficulty, I have created 3 new saves with each one having the difficulty that changes (normal, hard and harder). I have reported this changes to my save and edited the last 4 bytes to match the CRC32 signature of all the file (without including the CRC32 of course) but when I'm running the game, it doesn't detect my save and only show me the "New game" option instead of loading. Does anybody have more luck with editing ?

There's a CRC32 checksum for the header. Apparently if that check fails your save file would not be detected. The position of that checksum varies depending on your character name but should generally be on the 0x30 or 0x40 line (the red boxes). That's the CRC32 of everything up to that point (character name, difficulty, game time, etc.)

The green and blue boxes also seem to relate to the difficulty. I believe the green one affects how the difficulty is displayed on the save file list. The blue one probably means the current and starting difficulty? Haven't verified this though.

I have a question about save editing stats for this game. I'm trying to decrease the STR of Framme.

To do this, I made two identical save files. I then increased the STR of Framme with stat boosters in one save file. Afterwards, I compared both save files with a hex editor, and this let me identify where the stat changes were saved for Framme. In my case, my base STR went from hexadecimal 13 to 21 at offset 0001F9F0. However, changing the number causes the save file to not load.

I suspect it has to do with this, as this value was different in both save files. However, I'm quite new to this. How do I calculate the new crc32 after I made my changes to Framme?

I know I'm going to have to copy and paste a bunch of the bytes into a crc32 calculator. I will then have to place the crc32 checksum in reverse order. However, what do I even copy and paste? At what byte do I even start my copy and paste?

i cannot post links on this forum but you can try searching on youtube. there are plenty of tutorial videos on how to use cheat codes on yuzu. if you have decent machines like i do (rtx3090ti, i5-13600k), the performance and functionality of yuzu far surpass those of ryujinx. though ryujinx is more stable on laptops than yuzu is.

these can easily be done by Cheat Engine. search for money and the fragments are right below money. search for ores and all other materials are below or above it. right click the address found and click view the memory and then you can edit them in one go. the same goes for weapons, which the interval between subsequent items is 180. you can have any weapon at start of the game.

that kaitoB one is in chinese. The two sets have almost the same functions. I tried both and think Eiffel2018's is a little better than kaitoB's because these two codes are extremely useful and KaitoB doesn't include them:

i tested the codes and they work perfectly. people usually forget to update BID, B98244D9F41763D6 in this case, when they use new cheat codes. i say it's in 9 out of 10 cases
