That's what I was thinking too! Hopefully they tweak the backgrounds or the sprites a bit before the final release.

I think those pics were from last year so its likely they could make them look more fitting.

Hmm, I wonder how this game will turn out, I always enjoyed the Fire Emblem series. I hope they tweak the graphics in this one a bit more though..they seem a little out of place with one another.

Yuck,those "3D-ish" sprites look really bad.
The *awesomely* animated 2D sprites were great,why did they make it worse?

Everybody is bitchin' about graphics, but these are really very old pictures, it might end up looking completely different..And if this looks bad on pictures, it doesn't mean it'll look bad in movement when you'll play the game..
I really believe they'll make great job about this game..

I like this "improved" graphics, but keeping the "original" feel..
I wouldn't really like if they changed graphics drasticly, but then again, it would be shame if they kept the very same look like on GBA..This screens look very appealing to me..
