Hey there.

The PC version got some other nice options like adding all spells. It would be great if we would have a save editor that has the same options.

I just saw that the latest game, Ni No Kuni got a save editor from @turtle-insect but Final Fantasy 8 still has no save editor @-@

It looks like it converts your save file into a compatible version for the PC save editor, and I am only assuming, but It would also convert it back to switch to checkpoint importing.

Thanks. I've managed to get it running and exported into a PC save and used Hyne to fiddle around a bit (e.g. max items, cards) and have not figured how to convert back to a Switch Save file. Tried both methods of Exporting and Importing.

Edit: When attempting to Export from PC save, it simply says "The Program stopped working" and closes afterwards.

I did everything you explain my friend, but when I put my save data back to my switch, the game closes and I can't continue, will you know why this happens? Thank you.
I don't know if this is too much trouble but could you better make us a save editor like you did with the previous games? You already made one of Nino Kuni, honor us with this please, I beg you @turtle-insect

So changing the Switch File to PC is easy via "Export" and was able to edit the file with Hyne, however when changing the file back to the Switch version I think i am missing something.

So I have the modified Save00.ff8 (PC file) and I open the converter, put it in the path, then I Check "Import" and hit run, it then brings up an Open dialog wanting me to choose a file? So I select Save00.ff8 (PC file) and then the dialog closes and nothing else happens? Am I suppose to select the old Switch file?

So I've been trying this converter and its not working properly. I was able to use it to convert saves from switch to pc and vice versa but when i load back on the switch, the character health malfunctions.

Is it possible to convert from ps4 to switch at least?
