Right, they are repeated, there are other 7 images like this one, I'm not even sure if they all appear in-game, and I think not all of them have reused characters like this, but still, this one is a difficult one xD.

EDIT: Ok I've just thought of a possible solution lol.
EDIT2: 0_0"... The fix looks promising and all. I gotta get back to college assignments now but... How didn't I thought about this earlier?

Basically, I've just said that some other graphics like this one don't have repeated characters, right? Ok, I'll copy their program code into this image, and edit the graphic as if it had no repeated character.

This should work because in images with non-repited characters, their indices should be always different.

The other possible solution would be manually creating new indices for the repeated character, but copying them from another graphic (with no repeated kanjis) should give me faster and better (perfect) results.

From my understanding he will take a none repeated out of anther place and use it in the place of the one's that repeat as a work around

Because English rare to repeat and will not repeat most likely in the places that kanjis will anyway

Heck another work around make a blank put in what is needed redo the indexes for what is needed
That requires the proper recoding thou beyond me but maybe not Sky B-)

Redoing an index can take days, and each character has one index. My idea is to copy an image that has no repeated characters onto this one, this includes copying the graphic, and it's data (indices, etc...). That way I can edit the image without having to worry about repeated characters.

Sky instead of modifying videos, what about adding subs?

If you would actually read what Sky has posted, you'd know that subs are already complete. All editing the videos requires is translating the place/time stamps at the bottom left of the screen at the beginning of some videos.

Maybe you didn't understand me. I meant, instead of translating&replace place/time stamp, add a line (a sub) with its translation :)

Editing and exporting videos is much more straightforward than digging into the code that governs subtitles and adding them to videos that previously did not have subtitles. Then we'd have to make sure the timing on them is correct, figure out where to put the subtitle text in the game files, and possibly other unforeseen hurdles.

We'll figure it out quickly, and we'll do it right. We just have some other things to sort out first. One step at a time!

Plus, it's going to look a lot more professional. It wouldn't break the game for me, but seeing normal subs instead of/with the stamps would put a tarnish on the experience. I know that when I finally get this patch, the game is going to look like an actual localisation. minus the VOs, because that's how good this team is.

Here's hoping! I can genuinely say that we're doing our best. The enthusiasm from here, neogaf, and a few other places is infectious, and it's one of the things that constantly motivates me to work on the project.

And with that, I will place my nose back on the grindstone.

Make them shiny!

 You guys are going to kill yourselves checking as much as you do.... You know that beta testing's going to take MINIMUM at least a week or two..... Nobody gave me that timeframe, but you've gotta think that it takes an entire play through to beta test.... and He's got not only college stuff to deal with, but he's still fooling around in the game, tweaking a few things....

I just said it was KILLING ME

Not to rush It I know it will take some time to test it even if he did not have college or if he finds bug and has to fix it as well just having some fun :P
