You combine those orbs things again to get heal and buffs.Well for heal you use the green orb thing.

I thought there were no more magicites though? Or do these magic come with all characters in the game..?

Are there any other games like on the DS? I.E. 3-d roaming + hack and slash without the use of stylus (yes I'm poitning at you Zelda).

Phantasy Star Zero, Lunar Knights.. that's all I can think of so far.

Play Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword. It requires a stylus, but trust me, you'll love it.

Tried and finished them all. With the exception of Phantasy Star Zero, I don't know japanese so I'll savor it when it comes to the American shores.

doesn't work on M3sakura for me..
just freezes and i see the main char and some helmet guy and they are just standing in a black screen...
help?

All the characters can use magic, and the 6 magic spells are the same as RoF. Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Heal, Raise, Clear (Status). In RoF, Clear gave you a little bump in SP, but that's gone now. All it does is clear bad statuses.

By no more magicite, I mean you don't collect orbs at all, and you don't have a certain number of times you can use each spell. Any character can use any spell you want, as long as you have enough MP.

In my opinion, you don't need to know japanese in order to play the game, you just need prior knowledge to the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle games because it seems to me that the menus and some gameplay etc. are similiar in a way that you can figure your way through the game. For the wi-fi part, yea there is a 1 second delay or so to any actions you make in the game. I think it's still playeable in some aspects.

in addition, you'll only need japanese mainly on item crafting and story.
Yeah, item crafting has been a bit difficult without any (J) knowledge. Especially since there is no direct comparison of stats. i.e. forging a level 1 sword may show lower stats than the level 3 sword you're already carrying, but the new sword is better in the long run if you level it up. A little confusing if you can't read it. I've been relying on A) the cost of the scrolls & items and B) the sort options. When you have a list of scrolls, you can press "Y" to sort them, and if you play around with the options, you can sort them by weapon group, etc.

One thing I haven't figured out is how to attach jewels to my weapon / armor slots. I've been able to take my old leveled up weapons and armor, and turn them into jewels, but I can't figure out how to attach them to something new. I would think it would be in the forging process, like in RoF, but I can't find any option to do that. Anyone have any tips on attaching jewels?

try the 1st option(customize) in the item crafting shop.
Thanks. Could have sworn I tried that earlier, and couldn't get it to work. I guess I just wasn't doing it right.

4chan man says "newfag"
Also he says "herro, prease speak engrish."

Meh, i'm stuck in this game and i knew i should've waited for the english version to come out first cos what's the point in playing a story-driven game when you don't know what the hell's going on....
