Wouldn't be the same. You'll have a different main party, different paradigm setup and different classes for each of your members.

The party is enforced pretty much all the time till you exit Cocoon. You can get your paradigm setup back in like, 10 minutes, and you can't really have different classes for your members. If you fight all enemies generally you complete each character's crystarium for that chapter, and most people don't bother with the "secondary" paradigms of each character till the end game.
A save file with over 40 hours on a linear game like FFXIII is better than nothing.

i accidentally saved over my save file which had 50+ hours on it ._.
i tried starting up a new game , but i can't really play much since i get bored . . .
