Gaming FFTA2 Tower sidequest

In Melby Point, Graszton, I took an unofficial sidequest on climbing a tower. But after few floors the enemies were too hard and I fled.

Once I returned to the map I tried to find that quest but it wasn't there, so I was wondering does this quest come back later?

It wasn't on the pub requests, it just showed up after reading a rumor in the pub notice boards...

If it's anything like the GBA game, most side quests will reappear throughout the game until you have completed them. Kinda random.

The quests come back after a couple of days depending on the quest. In the pub when you choose a quest on the top it also says something like recent and others and you can check quests that you failed. It also tells you how long you have to wait until you can take the quest again.

But the problem is that it just popped on the map after reading a rumor...

It didn't show up on the pub like other quests...
