Homebrew FFIV DS Text Overlap problem

Every time I try to run it, rather it gets to the point where it shows you who is talking (sometime after you arrive in baron, right in the game beginning..) example:

Cecil: Blah blah blah

Then someone else speaks..

Kain: ????

Kain's text ends up overlapping Cecil's, making it unreadable. Same thing happens in battle menu, you see the battle set up.. as soon as your command prompt comes up, that etxt overlaps

Cecil HP/??? MP/???
Kain HP/??? MP/???

Making text in battle unreadable.

Any ideas on what to do?

What flashcart are you using? Firmware?

You may want to download the ROM again.

I am using a no$GBA emulator, actually.
