Raising individual stats like attack does not work. It returns to its original value after opening the menu once.

Hi!
First of all, thats for the save editor! I used the one for FF X and it worked perfect!
however, I just started the X2 game and I'm unable to edit the game save, even if I only add gil.
I used Checkpoint 3.6.0 to create the save file, then transfered it by ftp (file name ffx2_main_001), opened it with version 0.10 of the save editor, set gill to 900000, then I save and copy back the file. I then restore the save using checkpoint, but when I load the game save, the game crashes.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Please let me know what I can do to provide info on this issue.
