Gaming FF 7 fans

In short FF7 was coded on N64 to advanced sttages but was then ditched and brought out on PS1.So porting FF7 on the ds is possible.

lol right, and you belive in Spong... FF6 was shown with N64 graphics, nothing else nothing more.. and that was the only FF SHOWN, in the N64 Era

Possible, but without all the fmv or poss quality ones.
Resident Evil 2 is a good case in point

well you can switch the fmv to anime cut sequences. or just encode it differently. but if namco can manage to redo xenosaga 1 and 2 to fit the DS cart then i'm sure they can do it with this one.

Chances are really small.

Final Fantasy VII will probably be up for download for the PSP and i don't think they will bother remaking it for the DS too.

I would love FF7 on the DS, its the best game ever! and that would give me a reason to play it again

Honestly, I don't think the fact that FFVII has already been coded for Ultra 64 is bulletproof evidence to prove that it will be coming to the DS. That info has been around for years. The article is only going by some vague comment by a Sony rep.

But it would be hard for Square Enix to ignore just how much success they had with Final Fantasy III for the DS - and that was a game they had to build from the ground up!

That would be a lot different. Played XS 1/2 on the ds before? Its quite a watered down experience.
