Hacking Few questions about the PS4 remote play offline patch/mod

Just recently I found out about the PS4 Remote Play offline patcher and I wonder if it works on PS4s not connected to PSN. I want to use remote play on an non hacked PS4 but I don't want to update the FW for now, so the PSN login is out off the window... That's my dilemma. So basically is it enough to have the PS4 not logged in to PSN and use the patched app on my PC or how does it work? I honestly have never tried Remote Play in the first place since I don't want my PS4 to update. Also it seems a Ethernet LAN cable is required. So is it not possible via WLAN connection?

It is possible via wlan but streaming will be terrible, thats why a lan is required for console since your streaming on your other device via wifi anyway.

If your PS4 is on 5.05 or below use PS4 REN payload (remote play enabler).
