Anyway someone with custom firmware could export Chrom and other hacked units like Human Lilith? And then people without CFW could import them? I assume it would only possibly work with existing characters.
Nope, extdata is 3DS unique, which is where the characters are stored, exporting your extdata and giving it to someone else will do nothing as it will not work for them should they try to import it.

One more question, will having things like the undub, swimsuit, and fan-translation patch affect our ability to edit supports?

Hmm. Could I have three males with Felicia, Camilla, and Azura as the mothers? With a male MU. Maybe Setsuna as well.

Also if I try the patch, the second Kana doesn't have any supports with the avatar and his wife.
Did you do the actual Paralogue and follow the instructions in the tumblr post? I only ask because it worked for me. If you're talking about the actual "support conversations", no, M!Kana won't have any actual dialogue between M!Corrin and his wife and F!Kana won't have any dialogue between F!Corrin and her husband, nor will they have any dialogue with any of their siblings.

The only thing that affects supports is the Gay Fates hack. The others should not.

I see... He was missing the usual C-rank supports between parents and child. Can I still edit the his/her support levels so he/she can receive support bonuses? And will this affect the caps/growths as well?

Basically, would the patch or importing another kana produce the more natural-looking-and-working Kana?

You can still edit the support levels. It should make them receive the bonuses and the caps/growths should work as expected.

I say the patch because through the patch, both Kanas are your children. While the other-gendered Kana may not have been obtained normally, he/she will get Corrin's Talent secondary class Bane/Boon, and the last Skill the the Equipped Skills slot from both parents as if they were the Kana that's associated with the gender of your Corrin. But you can always edit them as you see fit.

Alright. I was unsure because the Male Kana's stats were different and overall lower than the Female Kana (Whom I get legitimately) in addition to the missing supports. He was missing skills the female one had too.

So I can just edit in the support ranks for Male Kana with the Twiddler?

This is because the children have their stats scaled when you enter their paralogue according to their parents, if you got the other Kana elsewhere through other means the stats would not have scaled properly as a result.

What about the Kanas obtained through the Twin Kanas patch?

That's weird because both of my Kanas had different stats (and possibly skills? I can't remember) as well. I remember playing Paralogue 2 with my Shigure-fathered Kanas. The last skill Shigure had was a Rally skill so during every Ally Phase, all they did was use Rally and stayed in place. xD You should be able to edit Male Kana's supports, yes.

Like I said, their stat scales on their paralogue based on their parents, both Kanas should have identical stats, being basically copies of each other, of course, initially, male kana will have inflated stats but that's because of the Dragon class.

What explains the differences in skills tho?

Here are the M!Kana's you asked for. I went ahead and included Setsuna. I hanged their hair colors too, to match. I didn't change the original skills he inherited from Percy. Also, idk if this is releant, but my Avatar's Boon was Mag and Bane was Luck, and their talent was Troubador. Just thought you should know.

That would mean they have different parents, remember that Male kana is assigned to Female Corrin and will not recognize Male Corrin as a parent, the opposite is also true for Female Kana, so unless you patch them both to have the same gendered Avatar as their assigned parent this will happen.

Ah, I used the NTR CFW for that example. Does that not fix the parents correctly?

Managed to do a kinda cool thing... http://imgur.com/a/Fa876
Made a copy of Forrest, changed his father to Effie, his mother to Elise, changed his character ID to a bond unit, and now Effie and Elise have a kid (kinda). I loaded the game up, and as screenshots show, the child can't support, yet she has C-support level with both Effie and Elise, probably because Forrest had C-support with his parents. Now if I could change the description, name, and allow her to enter the support menu, I figure this could be a nice way to get more kids, if growths and stat caps are working as they do with other legit children.

@Pokéfan Kieran I tried the offsets you mentioned way back for the statue caps. I got it working on a custom DLC character with no issues. But a recruited amiibo character seems to have the values cleared upon a subsequent save and reload of the save file. Anything else that needs to be flagged?

Just a random thing from a random newbie, but, if you remove Corrin from the game and Kana is recruited the file will shove them into main character status, cool, huh?

...Yes, this was emulated, apologies for the screenie weirdness, haha.

Umm... I haven't done it on custom dlc, I only tested corrin. I don't know, I just got back from a camping trip and I'm exhausted right now. I'll see later
