I need help discerning what value to input for Corrin's Talent if I want a Ninja talent. I used user Omegablu's guide to hex editting and located the "Talent" value according to their guide. Currently it's a 22, and what I set the talent to when I made Corrin was Samurai. 22 happens to be the value for Female Swordmaster, according to the PDF listed in Omegablu's hex editting guide. My questions are, is 22 even the "Samurai" talent? What do I put instead for the "Ninja" talent? Am I on the wrong value (which would mean the guide is wrong), and is this showing my current class? (Which is Female Swordmaster)

http://prntscr.com/bhiswr Here's a screenshot of the value in question. I read exactly off the guide where to find this, so I'm not quite sure if I'm doing something wrong or what.

First off, the guide isn't wrong. The class values provided are for things other than the talent. Second, I'm not sure if talent uses the same ids. I think it does though. Just replace your current talent value with the value of any class. I've even heard that stuff like Faceless or Stoneborn work.
Edit: 22 is female Samurai not Swordmaster.

Sorry, I didn't think the guide was wrong, I was just confused it let you put any value there that relates to the class. Thanks a lot for your response! Two more questions though. Will this get me Shadowbanned somehow? Will this let who I marry become that class? (I will marry after changing it.)

It won't shadowban you as far as I am aware unless you reclass into an enemy only class (but it's okay to have an enemy only class as a talent). The talent will get passed down/around properly as the game can't tell it apart from an unedited talent. I don't think that the child will get it unless you change talent before starting the kid's paralogue. Additionally, I have no idea if marriage seals will change to adapt to the new talent or not. Marriage seals might be fixed as soon as you marry.

Time for testing! I'll say what all happened later.

LOL WHOS THE WISE GUY I JUST FOUGHT ONLINE
yui shuisha or something
ur team is the dream how the hell did you raise your caps above 60?? where do i do that

Welp, you were right Omega. It lets you switch to any related class, then if you marry after switching talent, your children and husband/wife both get the talent. If you change it after getting the child in the paralogue, just reload it and I believe it will update. I believe your spouse will also get their partner seal class switched.

Thanks for the help.

Hi there,

This might have been answered before, but I'm not exactly sure which to edit—in the Hex Editor of the program, which section do I edit in order to change the voice of the unit? I tried the deep voice for the female and it isn't really my style, I just don't like how she sounds. I'd like to edit it to the neutral, default one since I've done the squeaky voice in a previous file. If anyone could help me, that'd be great! I'd fiddle with it, but I'd rather not mess up anything...

Hey guys, sorry for adding to the chaos of questions but I'm not sure where to ask. First off, maybe we should make another thread dedicated to Q&A and Hacks, maybe on Reddit?

Anyways, I was wondering if it was possible to change my characters boon/bane. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

Use the "search this thread only" option in the search box, I posted where to look in the hex editor for those wayyyy back. And besides they only apply to Avatar and Kana iirc.

As for Reddit? Not sure how receptive they would be to something that opens up the apsects of the game data.

Damn man that's not much help. Found it in Hex and compared values in the editor.

Avatar Boon/Bane/Talent in the hex editor is in the RawEndBlock section Values 10A -10C (05-07 for F!Kana)

for anyone who needs it.

Is it possible to have two avatars S-support each other through save hacking? Or would that require actual rom hacking?
IIRC, having two avatars (that is, neither avatar is an Einherjar) in one save file messes things up. The wrong avatar would/might appear in cutscenes and I'm sure a bunch of other stuff might go wrong as well, such as the other avatar might override your main avatar. So probably not through either method.

To elaborate, things get weird, but they should both be able to S Support. The thing is that you might swap avatars for the file, depending on the order that you select them in.

The support would have to be be through romhacking and is completely possible. Also, having two avatars isn't that dangerous. Any bugs experienced are controllable and reversable.

I wonder where I read that having two avatars was dangerous.

Well, the game will always use the avatar that is highest up in the roster as the main one upon loading a save. This could result in the backup avatar becoming the main one for the save, but the result is completely reversable. And the game lets you build a statue in the castle for it, though the name of it and the statue for your main avatar will always be the name of the main avatar.

Marrying two Avatars is completely possible, that said, you should never try to move them from their spot as things tend to get really weird, as the game will always prioritize the MU that's found first.
