Uhm can you make a list with all possible hair colour codes :)?
and i play my game later to the end and then i try hair colour change on all charakter

You can enter literally any hex value for the hair colors. Anything in the range from 000000 to FFFFFF.

But if it's a list of the default hex values for hair colors for all characters you're looking for, they can be found here:

Hey, how do I change classes and stuff like that it's grayed out for me, along wiht a couple other things, but other stuff works fine

Soaperman - I appreciate your program and the work you put into it, and it functions quite well. However, there are a few glitches that you might want to make note of:

Currently, your Releases page on GitHub says that the program allows "Editing of equipped skills. If you equip a character with a skill they don't already know, then they learn the skill." However, equipping a skill a character does not have does not teach them the skill. Rather, they gain temporary access to it until it is unequipped, and then it disappears.

In addition, your program now supports the feature to edit hair colors. However, the hair color hex value is stored in two separate locations, and your program only correctly modifies the hex value in one of them. As such, using your program to change the hair color results in a character possessing one hair color in battles and portraits, and the original color is used confession scenes and the Private Quarters. It's easy to check the location of the second hex hair color position by just searching for the hex value of any given character's value in the save file, and making note of the multiple occurrences.

Thanks for your program, and I look forward to seeing the project progress!

Also some of these options seems random regarding what's held back and what's not. e.g. letting you get enemy skills but not VP and BP, unless I'm doing somthing wrong.

@Deallocate: Thanks for the bug reports. I'll look into them.

Could we get a learn all legit skills feature that would give a character all skills they could legitimately learn? Thanks!

This isn't that much different from the current "learn all skills" button, given the variety of skills everyone legitimately can learn due to friendship and partner seals. Just don't equip skills like Aptitude, Draconic Hex, etc. that are obviously not legit if it concerns you. As far as I'm concerned, this isn't worth the work it would take to implement.

Class changing is planned for the near future; it's definitely something I want to add. I just haven't decided how to tackle it yet.

As for what's enabled, yeah, it's more or less random. I work on whatever I find will be the most fun to work on at any given moment, regardless of how useful it is to anyone. If a feature is not fun for me to add and I have no real desire to see it added, I will never add it. It's all on a whim, and I make no promises. I'm pretty sure the same applies to RainThunder and rilne (fellow contributors to the project).

I keep forgetting to remove BP and VP fields for the time being. I haven't figured out how to consistently locate their bytes.

fair enough I'm too dumb to do all this shit. I can KINDA count in hex but eh, good work here you got my support

Hey man thanks for this tool. I really appreciate the work you've put into it.

I did have an error come up earlier. With the newest release, adding enemies skills seems to make my save unloadable. I can save it fine on the computer but when I use KS to update the save the second I click load my games hangs and then crashes.

I dunno is this is a unique issue to me, but I figured that you might wanna know.

When I'm done at work I can post a modified save if you want

Edit: Just got back from work and tested it out again to be sure. For whatever reason it worked so I'm no longer complaining. I can only assume it was either an error in the encryption (which I doubt) or that the adding too many skills at once screwed it up.

Thanks a ton man! Looking forward to future releases

Does anyone have a list of what will get you banned? I understand you should do this and have common sense to not add anything it can't realistically have. Other than that what else do I look out for?

Not sure if you have Powersaves but I used that to set mine to 99 so I didn't have to dump save and stuff
I assume you're willing to buy me a PowerSaves and mail it to me, yes?
---------------
Does editing the hair color change the actual portrait and scenes?
It sure does. Note that it only seems to work on units who could normally have different hair colors (Corrin and children). I tried it on Anna and it did nothing. Maybe I should disable it for characters whose hair color doesn't change...View attachment 45922
When editing characters like Anna, it will not affect them personally, BUT the cheated hair WILL affect their children.
The secondary parent (fathers for Shigure and M!Kana(?), mothers for all the others) will pass down the ??????FF (yeah, the last of the four bytes should be FF or you'll get (mostly unnoticeable) problems) to their children, even if it doesn't match their hard-coded textures.
---------------
@Soaprman Your save editor is doing it shouldn't. I don't know what yet, or how to undo it, but it 2\3 shadowbans you.
Thaat's right, only two thirds. A true shadow ban prevent's people from visiting your castle online, doing wireless battles or parley with you, or streetpassing you.
But* after using your program, the affected files can only streetpass.

Would you mind looking into this? This was first brought to my attention by someone (whom's gbatemp account is banned for reasons unknown to me, according to them) and I thought it may be S-Ranking everything, but that cheat does not do what I thought it did. So I have no clue how to solve this issue.
---------------
@Soaprman as a final note, I have done some study with stats from fates and awakening.
If you set them to 63 (+99 via level ups) The game acknowledges valid values, and the "gained stats" are so high that no matter what class you change into, or how many statues you have out, with maybe the exception of chained logbook units, you will never need to use dragon herbs(or any of the singe-stat equivalents.) or sereph robes again.
However, I do not know the hard-coded limits, but setting stats to FF ('+255') bypasses the hard limit and the game just puts +0 wherever +255 is found when reading, but doesn't write said information unless the stat is altered during gameplay.

Thanks for the info.

The only thing I can really think of about the S-rank all weapons thing that would ban someone is giving stone experience to units who can't reclass into a stone-using class (most 1st gen units). Just in case it happens to be that, I'll modify the S-rank all weapons cheat to skip units who can't use stones.

If you could get that person to explain in further detail what edits they made to their save, that would be super.

As for testing whether changes get you banned, I have no current way of doing that, as all of my friends either don't have Fates or aren't online that often. That said, maybe one of you could help me. If any of you use Discord often and are usually around on weekends and weekday evenings (eastern US time), shoot me a PM if you want to help out.

I got banned and as you said because of the stone rankings so i reverse the effects and see what that does.

It's just odd that it doesn't fully shadowban you like it normally does. I'll try adjusting the S-Rank stones.
It's either S-Stones, or the Eternal Seals, as those are the only two one-clicks I used that would affect in, unless 99 DVP\Resources affects it somehow, which it shouldn't, because I see people with 99 resources, et cetera, online all the time, even when not shadowbanned.

What's discord? Can I get it on my android?

Discord is a chat thing. It's pretty similar to Skype but it's way better at handling group chats and isn't as, well, skypey. It's on Android as well (I use it on PC and my phone). https://discordapp.com/

And yeah, eternal seals could be thing too, since you're kind of not supposed to have them on unpromoted units or anything. I've recently made the eternal seals value auto-adjust as you change the level, though, so maybe I'll just rework that cheat in some way.

Perhaps streetpass and online have different anti-chest mechanisms. I'm actually surprised to hear it's possible to be banned from streetpass at all. That might be more of an error prevention mechanism than anything.

@that girl: Good news! I did some playing with my save and figured out how to unlock all level 3 statues in a way where you don't have to pay for them. I'm not 100% certain I fully understand all the data being edited here, but give this a spin if you want to.

The other buildings are probably in this same block, though I haven't tried any of them yet.

I'm not entirely sure how far ahead to edit…
