Hey folks!
I was wondering if it would be possible to create a cheat or romhack for FE Fates (Special Edition) that would allow the player to control the enemy team during the enemy phase in addition to controlling the player's own units during the player phase. Currently, there is an enemy control code for FE Fates but it merely allows the player to move the enemy units around with unlimited actions during the player's own turn. Furthermore, the enemy will proceed to move its units during the enemy phase as if nothing happened.
To put it simply, I suppose my wish could be described as wanting to take turns controlling the player's units during the player's phase and then the enemy's units during the enemy phase... as if it were a PvP-like mode where one player is controlling the player's intended units during the player phase and then another player can take the controller / 3DS and control the enemy units for the enemy's turn.
While the 5v5 multiplayer and castle battles can be quite enjoyable at times, I believe that playing through the Birthright, Conquest and Revelation chapters where the player can also control the enemy phase would be an absolute blast, especially if you had a friend or sibling to take the enemy's turn.
Honestly, I'm quite surprised that no one has apparently attempted to create a cheat or romhack that can achieve this. It seems like a very possible thing to do. Unfortunately, I am quite inept when it comes to romhacking and modding, so I suppose all I can do is bring attention to this idea and hope that there are people out there that are interested and possess the knowledge required to pull it off.
