Are there any good Famicom Disk System emulators for the DS?

Can you just rename a ".fds" file to a ".nes" and have it work?

On the DS side, NesterDS+ supports FDS files last time I heard (make sure you get the version with the + in the filename, which is the one with DLDI support), and on the GBA side there's HVCA. I don't know if you need the disksys.rom file for NesterDS+, but I know HVCA needs it.

Ok, so I downloaded NesterDS+, disksys.rom, and some .fds games.

But when I try to run them, it says "ERROR: DISKSYS.ROM not found."

I currently have Nester, disksys, and my .fds games in the same folder. Should they be that way, or not?

(Also, Nester has pretty crappy sound and lags a lot. Are there any better FDS emulators?)
