FC Twin No Longer Turns ON!?

I went to go play my FC Twin last night and its not even turning on, neither of the LED lights light up nor does it boot up any of the games I have. Whats the deal? has any one else had this issue? please help, I got this as a gift from my fiancée and where both a little torn up about this thanks!

Might be a power supply issue. It seems that it uses a bog standard adapter, so you'll have to try with a similiar one that has the same currents.
That is REALLY important. Don't try using a power adapter with a different voltage and/or lower amperage than the one it came with!

Example: If the original one has "9V, 1.2A" written on it, you can use a "9V, 1.5A", but not a "9V, 800mA" or a "12V, 1.2A", otherwise you risk breaking something in the FC Twin.

Also be mindful of the polarity of the original. There should be little diagram on the plug itself telling if the center is positive or negative.
