Homebrew FBI with FTP URL

I've been looking to make some of my CIA files installable via QR code but when I generate a QR code, FBI always show up with http:// in the front of the URL. It will be from FTP. Is this a limitation of FBI or am I using a bad QR code generator?

Use Boop. You just have to drag and drop the CIAs onto it, input the IP of the console, and press a button. Oh and select "remote install" on FBI. Perhaps you have reasons for using QR codes? If not, this is way easier

but WHY. You could somehow convert the link that gets automatically sent with these wireless CIA installers to a QR image i suppose. But it's a hassle. Are you developing some kind of homebrew?
