Gaming Fastest Canadian Internet?

What is the fastest internet avaiable in Canada? Or at least fast? I've checked through Rogers, Shaw and Bell and still couldn't find a fast internet....Any body knows of one plan or or "company" that has the "fastest internet". Download speed. Not Upload Speed.

If you live in Toronto, the fastest Internet service is Bell and Rogers. Videotron is the fastest Internet service in Canada (up to 50 mbs), but in the province of Quebec only.

SaskTel is such a joke compared to Shaw. And 3 times as expensive for a slower speed! Since my roommate and I are students, we pay $18/month for 7.5 Mbps through Shaw - who, by the way, don't give a crap what we download. The ultimate leeching internet connection.

Mind you, I do seed a little... but not as much as I should.

eh bell and rogers bug me. they're often very inconsistent, and severely overpriced. i got a nice bundle from primus. it may not be super high speed but i don't lag in my games, i dl things quick enough, and my vids buffer out decently. a little patience goes a long way ^^

Ouch. Around which area are you? Back in the Kincaid area our only options were YourLink (WORSE than SaskTel), XplorNet (bad too), and SaskTel. Now that I've moved to Saskatoon, I openly welcome Shaw.

How much do you pay for what speed through Sasktel? And my roommate got a D-Link Wireless G router, which I plan on upgrading when I have some extra cash kicking around, but it does the job well.

I think it is better to distinguish areas. Internet service providers aren't good across the board, I think it would be better to talk about the best providers in certain areas instead.

What's the best provider in Toronto then? I think my mom might switch internet providers because Rogers is over charging her every month
