Hi! This is my first thread here and I'm sorry if the question is dumb but I'm pretty new to this kind of thing, so yeah.
Okay so what I wanna do is, I want to edit dialogue in the 3ds game Fantasy Life. I've already got the romfs and figured where the file including the main dialogue is. I've opened the file with the Hex editor HxD to edit it, but the encoded text is only gibberish, so I'm guessing it's the wrong encoding. I've tried the other possible encodings, too, but it didn't work either.
So my question is, how can I decode the file to get the actual dialogue to edit?
Help would be much appreciated!!
