I have a feeling we'll see F-Zero on 3DS and Wii-U. It didn't happen on DS or Wii, so it's skipped a generation, must be about time for it to get revived!

I don't really understand the want for a new F-Zero but the trailer was still cool.

Well I've never really played the N64 or gamecube versions so I don't know what to expect; but the SNES and GBA versions are the only 2D racers that I still play; others lot thier appeal almost instantly as soon as the likes of Virtua Racing, Daytona and Ridge Racer came along.

That was, by far, the most incredible fan-made trailer i've ever seen!
I still don't understand why Nintendo didn't make f-zero for DS and Wii
I think the 3D effects will be perfect for this game, and I really hope for a 3DS version.
That's a must buy game!

F-Zero is probably the most complicated and most punishing racer out there.

I'll leave this pro player interview here for those who aren't sure what F-Zero is all about...

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
