Just to let others who may be thinking of buying a 64gb sdxc card on ebay to be wary, I bought a pretty convincing Sandisk fake in packaging, it wasn't obviously too cheap only a couple of quid less than elsewhere. Running it through fakeflashtest gives errors and a size of under 6gb. You'd be better just avoid ebay and buy it from a website with a good reputation.

And ebay won't let you post negative feedback for seven days if they're a powerseller!

I think I got one of these, too. Could you post a clear, big picture of the card + package?
The damn card is totally unreliable.

One thing I noticed when I got the card was that the otherwise normal genuine looking package did not require cutting tools to open; when I buy Sandisk cards at a retail store the package ALWAYS is a pain in the ass to open.

Also, it was already formatted FAT32?! I thought these big cards came with exFAT....

Anyway, the jackass who sold it to me is racking up negative feedback because he says he allows returns but never answers messages.

Has nothing to do with the Wii U. Should be better off in the Off-Topic Section.

It is very relevant considering the only way to use Loadiine consistently is with an SD card. Most folks would not see this in the off-topic section.

The last time I bought memory from eBay, I started having fucked up dreams about Mars, found out my marriage was a false memory implant, and ended up terraforming Mars. Or did I?

Actually no. But I did get a 16GB memory stick which after a few weeks became an 8GB memory stick. Fortunately I had less than 8GB of data on there, so I backed it up and threw it away. Buying cheap flash memory is just not worth it as it can fail at any time.

Like I've said before, you're better off just buying SD cards offline. There are quite a few fake cards on Amazon too, but they're the ones that hold the correct memory but have poor flash, meaning the SD card has a shorter life.

just be wary sometimes fakes can also pass h2testw test, in the sense that they do actually store the full advertised capacity, but they are really poor quality cards really slow transfer speeds and prone to failure, so just be weary, once a friend bought a fake SD on ebay it was shocking how many people were leaving the seller positive feedback, the seller had easily 10,000 + positive feedback, with the odd "fake SD card" dotted throughout, so im fairly sure there was 10,000 schmucks left with crappy fake SD cards/usb drives, and iirc the seller was actually being promoted by ebay, honestly ebay don't give a crap as long as they get their fee's, general advice if you see a handful "fake SD cards" in their feeback even if there is 7000 "omg so fast and great price" i would give the seller a miss

This is so true. I tell everyone this.

BUY SD CARD IN RETAIL STORES.

Fake, you return it right away.

Never ever buy sd cards online ever.

People never learn, just to save pennies. Literally pennies in savings.

Yes I noticed it showed up as FAT32 and thought oh-oh that's not right, well anyway I ran it twice through fakeflashtest and although it apparently wrote the full capacity when the data was checked back the program gave read errors pretty soon with a reported capacity of less than 6gb. Try yours with that program, it looks the real deal too the packaging and card itself looks perfect, the only difference with my other genuine card being that one has 10 within a semi-circle beneath the 64 and the fake has 1 in a U, both are called sandisk ultra, also the fake was manufactured in Taiwan (look on back of micro-sd) whereas the genuine was made in malaysia

The Greek dub of Toy Story's You've got a friend in me is still a classic even among boomers who've never watched the movie, mostly because it was sung by a famous beloved Greek singer

If anything, some of his songs were so controversial that he got troubles with the law regarding "blasphemy laws" in Greece.
