Hacking Fake CycloDS's?

Are there any fake ones floating around? (Like the R4)... Should I be careful where I buy it from?

Nope. You're pretty much safe anywhere.

No fakes around. There's a 0.1% fault rate or something though (as with all cards), so if it ends up being faulty just return it to the store and get a new one sent out.

Perhaps... I can't comment on that.

But any cart that has the CycloDS sticker on it is genuine..

It's called a clone.
A fake would be a card that actually pretended to be a real Cyclo and used the same name, packaging, etc.

Edge is the best clone of any other clone (R4 Clones)there is.

Yeah nice with the topic bump as well hehe.
EDGE is the best clone ever, though you might consider iPlayer a clone since it's basically an AK2i with an internal processor and no commercial ROM support.

is isnt just a clone its a good card it self it could be its own card stand alone if they just made there menu diffrent

edge is not 100% cyclo clone

since it doesn't have features that cyclo have (maybe it is disabled or whatever)
you also can't use the cyclo's cheat file on edge (even by rename it directly)

Maybe the EDGE team just couldn't get the hang of getting the all the same features as CycloDS. Plus, seeing as the CycloDS cheat file is its own format, it's probably not that easy to figure out by other teams.
