Sorry it took so long, took about 40 tries to get it to even say Acekard in the DS menu. I put about 4 pieces of index cards in the back of the slot to make the contacts touch.

Most of the pictures are not that clear. I don't know if Acekard can see the details.

It looks like you got the AKAIO 1.4.1 to run (same version as I tried). Where did you see the 'unsupported device' error?

EDIT: Why not just use Official menu maybe it will work.

Closer look of the chip inside AK2.1 will help.

Acekard 2 is supposed to run either AKAIO or official kernel, so I don't see a single reason why he would want to use YS Menu. You can simply buy a cheap R4 clone and put YS Menu on it...

Okay after 20 tries it froze after i chose the game, but i put one more piece of paper in and it booted the game! Gonna try AKAIO in a couple of minutes.

Okay so the Acekard is working and it seems to be a contact issue that was causing the Unsupported Device screen. I apologize to RHS for not wording my original statement correctly. There still seems to be the problem of me having to take it out about 15-20 times for the card to work.

Your unit may be defective but it is not equal to fake.

however it's clear that any user buying your cart won't be able to run any games from AKAIO, since it blocks HW:80 as an unsupported device.

akaio does not block the ak2 with the hardware number of 80.

if you launch a rom and your screen says "unsupported device" you have a clone. if anything else is going on (freezing, loading issues, etc) you have a contact issue, msd seat issue, corrupt file issue, etc. you really should debug before you post.

users in #acekard have just confirmed that hw:80 has been working just fine as far back as akaio 1.3, and as recent as akaio 1.5 rc3.

Now that we got it straightened out. Can I ask someone to change the title of the post? I would like to put this aside and not to give members here the impression that we sell fakes. This title of the post here really hurt our reputation.

OP, I will have my assistant send out a replacement to you Monday. Let us know if this is fine with you. You should have the replacement in couple of says.

I kid you not it was saying Unsupported Device. And I didn't releaize the 4 people that said AK's don't come with a HW ID of 80 was wrong.

Would there be anyway for the contact issue to make it show unsupported device?

OP should really change the title at this point. I've been dealing with RHS for over 2 years, and have bought plenty of cards (from R4 to Cyclo, Acekard, etc.), and not once was I ever sold anything but originals. Also, there was never any point in creating this topic.

If you had an issue with them, you should've contacted them directly and explained the problem. I'm sure a single card, which may or may not be as you describe it, is not worth opening this topic to damage their reputation.
