Misc fail at test connection

today I bought a WLAN USB ( I don't know If I can ply with it online )
so I think everything works when I enter wifi setings finds my acces point
and when it test connect it fails and gives a error
"error code : 52000
unable to obtain an IP address. Move within range of the access point or check DHCP settings. For help bla bla"thank you please dont give stupid answears like maybe your out of range, Im sitting next to my PC

I had that problem actually but NO ONE ERE HELPED ME

At the time I was windows ME and was with AOL so that was the problem. Now I'm on XP and we're planning a switch of ISP but I could check it out again shortly.

I think i had this problem a while ago is your internet connection shared? if isn't enable sharing.

Could it be that you are running WPA? If so you need to downgrade to WEP which sucks, but DS doesn't support anything higher. Only other option is to drop $40 on the Nintendo Wireless USB connector.
