I have a new EZFlash V(i) cartridge from DealExtreme for a DS Lite. Someone loaded the EZFlash V kernel (not the one your supposed to use for the EZ Vi) onto it. It loaded up one game (barely) and complained about sector 0 being bad several times (I may be missing some details, this was related to me by a friend). Now the cartridge is not recognized with or without the transflash memory. I tried reformatting the memory (Panasonic SD formatter). Loading the right software. Tried a different memory chip. The extra paper in the cartidge trick. All to no avail. Other carts work in this DS and this cart works is recognized by none. Sounds like its bricked. I will probably need to return it to DealExtreme but I would rather fix it than deal with the long wait until a new one is returned. There was a way to de-brick the fake DSTT's. Maybe there is something that can be done here. Any help appreciated.
