ezcap 284 and Ubuntu

I recently bought a capture card called the ezcap 284 and would like to use it on my Ubuntu 16.04 desktop as it is my main desktop. I have asked over at ask Ubuntu and no one has responded.

lsusb outputs that it is recognized as:

Bus 002 Device 013: ID 0ea0:2209 Ours Technology, Inc.

However, OBS does not recognize it, does anyone have any idea why?
