Hacking EZ-Flash V and Homebrew

How's the EZV homebrew compatibility? More specifically, does ScummVM DS work with most/all games? I've been running circles around wether to get this one or the M3 Simple, or wait for the new M3 DS Real. Since something tells me that the M3 DS Real will have the almost the same functionality as the EZV (i e running GBA games from a slot-2 card, such as the one announced for EZV) I'm debating wether or not to get the EZV now, or wait about four weeks for the M3 DS Real.

Scummvm DS works fine on the EZ-V. The EZ-V has a DLDI patch so anything that has DLDI support will work, scummvmds for example.

Homebrew compatibility would be around the same as the M3 Simply / R4 DS.
