Hacking Ez Flash Omega with R4

Hey guys, I am just getting back into this scene and I was wanting to buy the Ez Flash V 3 in 1 DS lite expansion, but when I was looking around I saw that the Omega had just been released. I remember that the reason I wanted the Flash V was that it worked natively with my R4 chip so I could play both DS and GBA games on my DS through the R4 card. Can the Omega achieve this or are they completely different products? If they are What is different about them?
