ROM Hack Question Extracting & Editing SaveData as safely as possible....?

Hello guys. I'm new in the switch scene. looking for a tip and an answer.
What's the safest way to play with the switch save data? with a slimmest chance for a ban. Is it possible without access to cfw and only homebrew loader? or is it possible to de-virginized the switch after save editing?
I just wanted a single player game cheats with legit carts and everything...
gamegenie & powersaves is dead?...

Don't go online.

Backup your nand then do w/e you want. Play your single player games. Once you're done and you want to go online backup your saves if you would like to keep them.

Restore your nand, you can now go online with minimum risk.
