External hard drive partition question

Ive got a 2TB hard drive that is currently split into two partitions. The primary partition is close to being full, and the secondary is blank.

What I want to know is, can I (without losing information on the first partition) delete the second one, and add the space to the first one which is currently almost full?

there should be many partition managers with that ability
personally I'd use linux fdisk + ntfsresize but ymmv
