Anyone else have an issue where their external hard drive disconnects randomly? I have the hidden option in the Wii U turned off so it doesn't power it down. I also have it connected with a Y cable. The power part of the Y cable is connected to a USB power adapter and I've tried both 0.5 amp and 2 amp adapters.

Oddly enough I just recently tried putting both ends of the Y adapter into the Wii U and so far it hasn't disconnected, but it's only been a couple hours. I have a USB LAN adapter I was using in the other port.
