Hacking Existing Coldboot Haxchi, what method to softmod vWii?

I have an existing Coldboot Haxchi that is working awesome. Having trouble figuring out which method is safe, current, and compatible with this to softmod the vWii. I have found a lot of tutorials but I am scared I will somehow mess up my current working system.

The vwii is separate from the other parts of the system so you're safe
